171210 Presentation of The Lamb Inn reduced

Commissioned by James Braxton to produce a painting of the Lamb Inn, Wartling Christine is pictured above presenting the finished picture to James. Featuring the 16th century former coaching inn’s main building and courtyard the acrylic painting also includes several vintage cars in the foreground. It will hang above the fireplace in the bar area.

Perched above the Pevensey Levels next to the village church and standing between Herstmonceux Castle and Pevensey Castle, the Lamb Inn extends a warm welcome to both locals and travellers. It is also dog friendly. James Braxton, BBC2’s ‘Antiques Road Trip’ expert, and family bought the Lamb Inn in 2012 and it is run by his sons Charlie and Ned.
