It is with much sadness that we have to report that Deliciously Gorgeous had to close their doors to customers on Friday 22nd May 2026. After the breakdown of negotiations over a new long-term lease the landlord informed DG on 19th May that it wanted vacant possession of the premises and they had until close of business on Friday 22nd May to remove all their equipment. This happened so suddenly that everyone involved with DG was stunned and devastated by the decision.
We wish Simon Cuss and all the staff who worked for him all the very best for the future wherever any new employment may take them.
It was an absolute pleasure to work with them over the four years that the gallery was open and we really appreciated all the support they gave us that allowed us to showcase the work of local artists, photographers and a poet, and raise over £1200 for St Wilfrid’s Hospice in the process.
