Earlier this month we attended a couple of workshops given by Roger Blackwell at our local Pevensey Bay Art Group.
Roger demonstrated the use of Brusho which is a brilliantly intense dry crystalline powder. Available in an extensive range of colours they mix instantly with water to produce a painting medium that is very versatile.
During the two workshops Roger demonstrated two different methods of using Brusho. Firstly, he showed how to sprinkle the dry powder onto wet paper and the effect that had. During his second workshop he mixed the powder with water and then applied it onto dry paper.
Both sessions were extremely interesting and I’m sure Brusho is something that we will be using more of in the future. Thanks Roger.
