I had the pleasure of meeting Henderson Cisz at the Artique Gallery, Brighton last month at a showing of his latest work.
The Brazilian born painter has established an international reputation as one of the finest cityscape artists of his generation. He travelled across continents to sketch, photograph and paint his favourite cities. His vibrant images of Venice, Paris, London, Amsterdam, Rome, Sydney, New York, San Francisco and Las Vegas are stunning.
Photographs of his collection are featured in the accompanying book “Panini, Pretzels, Pernod & Paint”. In the book he explains just why he loves each city and what makes them so special to him.
