The Bay Hotel, in the heart of Pevensey Bay, has opened an ART GALLERY on the ground floor as part of a major refurbishment which is currently underway. The core exhibits will come from members of the recently formed Arts, Crafts and Photographs [ACAP] group which meets weekly on Monday afternoons in the Bay. The first paintings were hung on Thursday 21 March 2019.

In addition, a guest artist will be invited to exhibit their work on our ‘Featured Artist’ wall each month. Local resident Steve Tanner was the first to  be invited to exhibit his artwork with a dozen of his beautiful pastel pictures taking centre stage when the gallery was officially opened.

Current Exhibition:

Hugh Ford “Reflections, meditations and observations”.  His paintings will be on display from 1st September 2019.

The Art Gallery@ The Bay Hotel  was officially opened on Wednesday 1st May by James Braxton, star of BBC2’s “Antiques Road Trip” and owner of The Lamb Inn, Wartling.
